Who doesn’t love a summer glow? Tan skin really makes everything look and feel better BUT… too much sun exposure leads to sun spots and premature skin aging.

When you are spending who knows how much on your skin treatments (to keep your glowing complexion and sculpted look) - don’t counteract all that good with too much sun exposure!!

As with most things, not all sunscreen is created equal. Many sunscreens are loaded with harmful (& toxic) chemicals!! So while you want to be regularly applying sunscreen - you DO NOT WANT to be regularly applying harmful (endocrine disrupting, carcinogens, etc.) chemicals!

We want flawless, plump glowing skin - which is why some (not too much) sun exposure is good and non toxic sunscreen (& hats) are essential.

For a little glow on your daily walk

or over your make up for a backyard dinner party!

You will GLOW like a goddess. You can even use this as a highlighter! If you are worried about this causing breakouts, don’t be. As someone with highly sensitive and acne prone skin, I am skittish about any new product but this one passed with flying colors and I am now on my 3rd stick!

For an everyday tinted sunscreen

(not perfect, but you will get compliments I swear!)

Non toxic sunscreen for your face. As a recovering UltaMD tinted sunscreen addict (I wore it every day for over a decade), I have been on the hunt for a clean tinted sunscreen that I can wear for a natural glow (without makeup). This is the best thing that I have found but I must worn you that it is not perfect. It is a graining texture in your palm than the UltaMD but it lays smoothly on your skin. I, honestly, get compliments when I swear it versus a bare face so I have stuck with it. I wear shade 6. For now, this a great daily tinted sunscreen but I will report back if I find something better.

For when you are out soaking up the sunshine

The best non toxic sunscreen for you body! Only 5 ingredients - Grass-fed tallow, organic olive oil, 20% non-nano zinc-oxide, coconut co2, vanilla extract. TALK ABOUT CLEAN. Apply this to your chest, shoulders, arms, legs - whatever is exposed - when you are soaking up the sun. I apply it on my daily walks through the park. I haven’t tried their sunscreen face stick yet (because I love this one discussed about) but just ordered it and will report back!

If you read my prior post: Non Toxic Everything?, you know that I was on the hunt for a non toxic Vaseline alternative and I can happily report back that this tallow balm is magical!! It is made out only 2 ingredients - 100% grass bed beef tallow (which has been used for centuries - dating back to the Romans and ancient Egyptians) and organic olive oil. Does it get any cleaner than that??? I use it daily for lip balm and body lotion (when I am not using my organic body oils; I tend to rotate).

For your adventurous vacation out in nature

The best adventurous non toxic sunscreen. A must on every vacation and lake day. It is a thick sunscreen so you have to work with it when you are applying it but the quality is there. It is also the perfect size for traveling and throwing in your beach bag! Love love love this stuff.

** This sunscreen is also not harmful to wildlife (animals and reefs). Most sunscreens leave behind harmful chemicals that impact the wildlife you were just admiring :(

Bonus: This hat is everything!!

Obsessed would be an understatement. I bring this everywhere with me and wear it everyday….

It is made out of UPF 50+ material (ie it blocks Blocks 95% UVA/UVB rays). It has a removable forehead pad that you can takeout and wash!! No more old excess sweat leading to acne around your hairline. You can roll it up for easy traveling! It is a visor of course; visors over baseball hats because your head sweats less so your blowout doesn’t get ruined! & let’s be honest, we are all trying to preserve our hair.

It is truly the creme de la creme.
